What information we collect.

We only collect what we need to quote and deliver work:

  • Your name, business name, phone number and email address.
  • The brief you send us, including any deadlines or references.
  • Basic technical information from your browser when you visit this site (via Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies).

We do not collect payment card details on this site. Invoices are settled by EFT or approved payment platform, which handle their own data separately.

How we use your information.

  • To reply to your enquiry with a written quote.
  • To deliver work you have engaged us for, and to invoice you.
  • To send occasional operational updates about your active job.
  • To keep our own accounting and tax records, as required by SARS.

We do not send marketing email without your permission. We do not sell, rent or trade your data to third parties.

Where your information lives.

Enquiries submitted through the site are sent to us via Formspree and delivered to hello@wurxgroup.co.za, hosted with Google Workspace. Files and briefs are stored in Google Drive and our internal job register. Site hosting is on Vercel. All of these providers offer their own enterprise-grade security controls.

How long we keep it.

Active job data is kept for the life of the job plus five years, in line with South African tax and accounting requirements. Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for twelve months and then deleted.

Your rights.

You can ask us at any time to show you the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it (subject to any legal record-keeping obligations). Email privacy@wurxgroup.co.za and we will respond inside seven working days.

If you believe we have mishandled your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
